Market Stats: Residential Detached

North Vancouver: Gross sales for all units in June decreased relative to the gains in May, and were down 8% compared to the same period last year, and 18% year to date. The number of units sold in June this year was up ever so slightly at 1% relative to June 2018, however that figure is still down 15% year to date.  For units listed, the declines continued as well compared to both April and May, as did the total number of active listings.  Overall, this year has not been great year for North Vancouver compared to last year.

West Vancouver: Gross sales dollars for all units in June took a sharpe decrease compared to the two previous months, and were down 14% compared to June 2018.  The number of units sold followed the same pattern with a decrease as well. The activity for detached homes slowed down in June with the number of units listed decreasing by 28%, and 21% for condos.  Overall, the number of active listings continues to increase.

Vancouver West: Residential detached units in Vancouver West have been vastly underperforming compared to 2018. Comparing June 2019 to June 2018, there has been a decrease of 35% in gross sales, 25% in units sold and 13% in average price per unit.
